SecuOps Lock Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Policy applies to sign-in, device and permission management, Bluetooth/NFC/Bluetooth-key/4G remote unlocking, code scanning, job photography, device maps, alerts, and log queries offered through SecuOps Lock.
Independently provided third-party products and services are governed by their own rules. When the App opens a third-party application or page, please review that provider’s privacy policy separately.
2. Personal Information We Process
| Scenario | Information | Purpose and Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Account sign-in and identity verification | Account, password, mobile number, email, verification code, authentication token, role, organization, sign-in time, IP address, and session status. | Submitted by you or configured by your organization to authenticate you, maintain the session, and protect the account. |
| One-tap mobile sign-in | Masked mobile number, network and carrier type, SIM status, terminal and network environment, and authentication token. | Processed only when you select one-tap sign-in, to authenticate the number on the device. Our server exchanges the token for the authentication result. |
| Device and permission management | User, role, organization, device identifier/name/model, binding, permission status, request reason, and approval record. | To display authorized devices, request and approve access, and administer organizational permissions. |
| Bluetooth and Bluetooth-key unlocking | Bluetooth/nearby-device permission, nearby device name and identifier, MAC address or equivalent identifier, signal strength, connection status, device information, and operation result. | When you enter a relevant page or initiate an operation, to discover, identify, connect to, and operate an authorized lock or key. |
| NFC unlocking | NFC data, lock serial number or identifier, security-key interaction result, device information, and operation result. | When you actively tap an NFC lock or use an NFC feature, to identify and securely communicate with an authorized device. |
| 4G remote unlocking | Device identifier, network status, command, operator, time, and result. | To transmit a command to a supported device at your request and record the result. |
| System location and maps | Coordinates, accuracy and time supplied by the system, address data resolved through business services, device locations, and map interactions. | System location is called only for unlocking-location records, job photography, device maps, or location selection. Android and iOS use system location, while map providers display user or device locations. |
| Scanning and image recognition | Camera view, image selected by you, QR/barcode result, and device code. | When you scan or select an image, to identify a device. Where no upload is selected, recognition is generally completed on the terminal. |
| Job photography and upload | Onsite photograph, capture time, device and task information, and necessary location and watermark data. | To document the work, device condition, and completion. Do not upload unrelated information. |
| Logs, security, and troubleshooting | Sign-in, unlocking method, operation time, location, result, device status, error details, App and system versions, device model, and network status. | For security audits, troubleshooting, dispute handling, service improvement, and legal compliance. |
| Analytics | Device model, operating system, App version, network information, device identifiers, App usage, and custom business events. | Initialized after privacy consent to understand feature usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product. We do not use it for advertising profiles. |
| Local storage and offline tasks | Session state, language, account preferences, encrypted remembered-password data, device/task cache, and pending operation records. | Stored on the terminal to retain settings and support offline operations and later synchronization. Clearing App data or uninstalling removes local data. |
If you decline information necessary for a feature, that feature may be unavailable, while unrelated features remain available. We may process information without consent where applicable law permits.
3. Sensitive Personal Information
Precise location, unlocking and approval records, job records that may reveal movements, account credentials, and security-key interaction data may be sensitive personal information or otherwise highly security sensitive. Their misuse may affect your privacy, devices, or property.
We process only what is necessary to verify access, operate a device, document work, maintain security, audit activity, and resolve disputes, and apply access control, transmission protection, permission isolation, and audit logging.
4. System Permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Effect if Denied |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Use Android/iOS system location for unlocking records, job photography, device maps, and location selection. | Related location, map positioning, or job features may be unavailable. |
| Bluetooth/Nearby Devices | Discover, identify, and connect to smart locks or Bluetooth keys. | Bluetooth-dependent operations will not work. |
| NFC | Read and communicate with NFC-enabled smart locks. | Phone NFC unlocking will not work. |
| Camera | Scan device codes and capture job photographs. | Scanning and photography will not work. |
| Photos/Media | Let you select an existing image for recognition or business upload. | Image selection will not work; direct photography is unaffected. |
| Network and Network Status | Sign-in, device and permission synchronization, remote operations, record upload, map loading, and availability checks. | Online and synchronization functions will not operate normally. |
A permission is generally requested when you first use the related feature. You can manage it in your phone’s application settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed before it.

Proprietary Device Capabilities
The App also uses proprietary MakeID NFC smart-lock communication, MakeID scanner recognition, Bluetooth-lock, and electronic-key modules. These modules invoke NFC, camera, and Bluetooth functions on the terminal to identify devices and perform authorized operations. They are not independent third-party SDKs. Chongqing Pinsheng Technology Co., Ltd. processes related information under this Policy. Necessary device identifiers, operation results, and security logs may be transmitted to the business server.
6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
The App uses local storage, databases, and identifiers to retain session state, language, account preferences, device/task cache, offline records, and security state. The App does not use cookies for web advertising tracking. Third-party map pages may use necessary local technologies under their own policies.
7. Sharing, Entrusted Processing, Transfer, and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share or entrust processing only where necessary:
- with your organization, administrators, or authorized backend staff for account, role, permission, device, location, photograph, approval, operation-log, management, audit, and dispute purposes;
- with the service providers listed above to provide their respective functions;
- as necessary to perform a contract, comply with law or a competent authority, or protect a person’s life, health, or property; or
- for another purpose after obtaining separate consent.
If information is transferred due to a merger, division, acquisition, asset transfer, or liquidation, we will identify the recipient and require continued compliance with this Policy. A recipient that changes the purpose or method must obtain consent as required. We do not publicly disclose personal information without separate consent unless law provides otherwise.
8. Storage Location and Retention
Business personal information is generally stored in mainland China and retained only for the shortest period necessary. Account information is generally kept while the account exists. Device, approval, and unlocking logs are kept as necessary for security, organizational audits, disputes, and legal duties. Local cache can be cleared by you or removed by uninstalling the App.
At the end of the retention period, information is deleted or anonymized, unless law requires otherwise or immediate deletion is technically difficult. In the latter case, we limit processing to storage and apply necessary safeguards.
Overseas services such as Google Maps may involve cross-border transfer. We will satisfy applicable notice, separate-consent, and cross-border requirements based on actual deployment and region. A service involving such transfer will not be enabled in a region until the applicable conditions are met.
9. Security
We use measures appropriate to the risk, including identity verification, least privilege, layered authorization, transmission protection, encryption or signing of important data, interface validation, audit logs, monitoring, and incident response. You should protect your account, password, verification codes, terminal, and electronic keys.
If a personal-information incident may harm your rights, we will take remedial measures and notify you as required through push, telephone, SMS, email, announcement, or another reasonable method. Where individual notice is impracticable, we will publish an announcement and make any required regulatory report.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, copy, correct, supplement, or delete personal information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to processing; cancel an account; and request an explanation of processing rules. Submit a request using the contact information below.
Accounts are often configured by your organization, so cancellation, permission changes, and some log requests may require administrator assistance. Unlocking, approval, and security records may not be deleted immediately where necessary for device safety, audits, disputes, or legal duties; we will restrict further use and protect them.
We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by law. We may lawfully refuse manifestly repetitive, technically disproportionate, rights-harming, or clearly impracticable requests and will explain the reason.
11. Minors
The App is primarily intended for adults using smart locks for work, administration, or authorized operations, and is not directed to minors. A minor who must use it requires prior guardian consent and appropriate supervision by the guardian and organization. Contact us if you believe a minor’s information was processed without valid consent.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy due to legal, regulatory, business, functional, or third-party service changes. Material changes to purpose, method, information type, recipient, or individual rights will be prominently communicated through an App prompt, notice, or announcement, and renewed consent will be obtained where required.
